Polycarbonate comes with a variety of finishes, texture, fine texture, smooth gloss and various smooth matte levels. It also comes in a variety of thicknesses, ranging from .005 to .060. The material is clear, which means all coloring must be printed but also means that clear windows are an option. Clear windows may be used for display windows, LED displays and windows where custom data labels can be inserted.

Clear polycarbonate allows the printing to be done on the far (back) side of the material. The agency markings and critical safety information is protected behind the polycarbonate material. These designs offer great value. The polycarbonate product is UL & CSA tested and certified. Precision cutting can be done with inexpensive steel rule dies or by laser.

Often many different warning labels are required for one medical device. It is possible to combine different labels in a set. Adhesa Plate's digital process offers printing and cutting without the cost of fim or die cutting tools. Multiple colors and multiple images can be printed on the same material.
