Adhesa Plate has launched a full line of digitally produced labels, nameplate and graphic overlays. Combining the most capable digital printing & cutting technologies, complex labels can now be produced affordably in small quantities or prototypes. Color matching, sequential numbering, sequencial barcodes & UID codes are produced with either UV inkjet or thermal transfer. Precision cutting can be done either by plotter or laser.

Adhesa Plate adds new UV ink jet printer to it’s digital processing capabilities. This latest technology allows the highest quality graphics applied to almost every substrate (metal or plastic) used in the labeling industry.

Adhesa Plate Mfg. embarks on ISO certification. Using our existing quality plan based on 1994 updating to 2000.

Adhesa Plate expands it’s laser cutting capabilities by adding a new 45 watt laser cutter. Many items cannot be cut using steel rule cutting dies. Close tolerance sizes or heavy gauge films can now be cut accurately. Combined with digital printing, laser cutting offers an affordable prototype.

Adhesa Plate Mfg. expands their doming capabilities. New semi-automatic machine will shorten lead times for urethane doming of labels and graphic overlays.

Our second digital press arrives. This multipurpose machine not only creates our film needed for our conventional screen printing process but also creates 4 color process labels and graphic overlays. Using ink jet technology, a higher quality print image is created, allowing a more complex graphic printed on plastics and label materials. Contact us for samples and prices.

Digital technology reaches the label industry. Adhesa Plate purchases it’s first computer aided printing press. Using thermal transfer technology, the process allows graphic images to be transferred to polycarbonate, polyester and vinyl. A computer controlled cutter enhances the printing technology. Adhesa Plate embraces first round of “Lean Manufacturing” methods. Implementing the 5 S program and creating Value Stream Mapping on the shop floor and order entry is helping reduce lead times and increase quality. Working with consultants from WMS, 5 staff members worked to work flow.
